There are a number of fantastic organizations around that are spreading the love to both current and past military members. We have come across one that we want to say ooahh and thank you to here at TakingOnTheVA.
According to their website mission statement:
“Operation Gratitude seeks to lift morale and put smiles on faces by sending care packages addressed to individual Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed in harm’s way.** Operation Gratitude care packages contain food, hygiene products, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation, all wrapped with good wishes of love and support.”
It’s hard enough to serve but to serve away from home is even harder. This group knows how to spread the love around big time.
This holiday season take a minute or two to see what you can do for current and past military members and if you feel the need, stop by Operation Gratitude and help them spread the love.
